Six Flags New England

What do you get for a man who has everything? The world has agreed that Superman: Ride of Steel was the best roller coaster on the planet, so how could you make it any better? To answer that question Six Flags New England called SSI. In response to the challenge SSI worked closely with Intamin, the coaster manufacturer, and Six Flags to design a sound system that pushes the world’s best coaster in the realm of Bizarro and to a new level of excitement.

Six Flags Magic Mountain, CA

Roller coaster enthusiasts are relentless in the search for something bigger, badder, and never before seen. Great Coasters International stepped up to provide a big, bad wooden roller coaster for Six Flags Magic Mountain, and SSI stepped up add something that had never been seen before. This meeting of the minds produced the world’s first wooden roller coaster with on board audio, Terminator Salvation – The Ride.

The Mall at Millenia
Orlando, FL

The Mall at Millenia, owned by The Forbes Company, is a premier retail center and shopping mall in Orlando, FL. SSI is credited with installing the entire background music and paging systems as well as a 12 Channel surround sound audio system in the Grand Court. This system is powered by a Media Matrix system and a rack full of QSC amplifiers. A complex DSP program running in the Media Matrix provides a platform to route and process audio for several discrete zones in the mall. This level of control is a key to the success of the and continued operation of the system.

On Top of the World
Ocala, FL

SSI has completed a host of projects for the On Top of The World communities in Ocala, FL. The projects consist of a community center that boasts a live performance stage system, a fitness center with background music and paging, a Spa, classrooms with projection and audio systems and a small live system for a Gazebo.

Universal Studios Hollywood Video Wall
Hollywood, CA

SSI rose to the occasion when Universal Studios asked for a Video Wall in their Mummy Retail store at Universal Studios Hollywood. Rather than using conventional & expensive video wall processors SSI developed a way to reduce the amount of equipment needed, simplify operation and provide a sleek finished product. The video wall consists of nine 46” NEC LCD screens and a few other secret pieces of equipment.

City of Winter Garden

The City of Winter Garden came to SSI to build and install AV systems in their Police Training Facility. This building consists of (3) separate installations. The training room, Chief’s office & conference rooms all have a complementary AV system. The right balance of Audio Visual equipment from SSI proved to be a success for Winter Garden.

The Simpsons Ride is a world class theme park attraction at Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood. SSI designed, fabricated and installed the Audio, Video, Surveillance and Control systems for the attraction. This system boasts over 60 LCD screens, 100's of speakers and 16 equipment racks loaded with headend equipment to deliver a spectacular Audio Visual experience.

Six Flags Great Adventure, NJ

The Medusa roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure goes down in history as the world’s first floorless coaster. Since its construction there have been many incredible coasters from Bolliger and Mabillard using this proven formula. Six Flags decided that the coaster that started it all needed some more attention so SSI was brought in to improve upon an already classic ride. Installing a world renowned sound system from SSI gave riders an even more exciting experience and reminded them that BIZARRO is still one of the world’s most exciting coasters.
